The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Credit Controller on behalf of a Research & Development company in Northampton.

The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Credit Controller to assist in the prompt collection of debts, process accounting data efficiently, create reports for management, and ensure clients receive high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively chase customers who have not paid within agreed terms.
  • Identify potential risks early to prevent financial impact.
  • Assist in month-end tasks and report preparation.
  • Support ongoing improvements in credit control processes.
  • Manage the invoicing process.
Your Profile
  • Relevant experience in a Credit Control role.
  • Professional, articulate, reliable, and motivated.
  • Comfortable communicating at all organizational levels.
  • Confident telephone manner.
  • Methodical, organized, accurate, and able to meet deadlines.
  • IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Salary and Benefits

The role offers a salary of up to £26,000, depending on experience and skills. It is a full-time office role, working hours from 8:30 to 17:00, with an hour for lunch. Benefits include BUPA healthcare, a performance bonus, a referral scheme, and a 5% employer pension contribution.
