Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Credit Control Management: Efficiently manage and oversee the credit control process for our diverse property portfolio.
  • Debt Recovery: Proactively chase overdue payments and handle all aspects of debt recovery, including sending reminders, negotiating repayment plans, and initiating legal action if necessary.
  • Client Communication: Maintain excellent communication with tenants and landlords, addressing and resolving any payment issues promptly and professionally.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of client accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on debtors, aged debt analysis, and collection performance to senior management.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to the credit control process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in credit control, preferably within the property sector.
  • Education: Relevant finance or accounting qualifications are advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
