Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking an experienced Credit Controller for a central Manchester on-site role. The position is full time and permanent with a salary up to £30,000 per annum.

You will support management with processing and monitoring of accounts, customer service and credit control. This role requires commuting to Manchester city centre.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Daily posting and reconciliation of customer receipts.
• Update Cash Book relating to Invoice Finance facility daily.
• Take cheques to the bank.
• Prepare daily spreadsheet of payments received.
• Chase customers for overdue debt.
• Resolve disputes relating to customer accounts and communicate outcomes.

We are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a well established client in Central Manchester. This is a full time, permanent role working on site in Manchester city centre so the successful candidate needs to be comfortable commuting to site.

You'll be supporting management in the processing and monitoring of accounts, providing a customer service and credit control function.

What you’ll be doing -

• Daily posting and reconciliation of customer receipts
• Update Cash Book relating to Invoice Finance facility daily.
• Taking cheques received to the bank.
• Prepare daily spreadsheet of payments received.
• Chase customers for overdue debt.
• Resolve any disputes relating to customer accounts, ensuring outcome is communicated to customer.

What we’re looking for -

• Previous experience working in credit control
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent attention to detail
• Computer literate, working across various systems including Excel
• Great people skills

Working hours -

• Monday to Friday: 8:30am-5pm
