Our Credit Controller will provide crucial support to the Residential Team, responsible for billing, recovering service charges for a portfolio of sites under our management, reviewing accounts, and keeping the system up to date.

What will you do?

  • Deliver a first-class service to the Property Management team, Finance team, and our customers/tenants — being the main contact for all Billing and Credit Control queries.
  • Be responsible for billing and collection of service charges (and Ground Rent) to leaseholders in accordance with lease provisions and ARMA-Q guidelines.
  • Ensure customers pay within their agreed payment terms, chasing payments and debt via phone and email.
  • Coordinate Monthly/Quarterly Debt Collection meetings with Property Managers to ensure timely debt collection and information sharing.
  • Manage client relationships with Solicitors and third-party debt collection agents, liaising regularly to maximize debt recovery and minimize aged debt.
  • Communicate with leaseholders professionally via email, phone, and letter, following all queries through to resolution or escalation.
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries/disputes quickly and efficiently.
  • Provide KPI information regularly, using Qube and collaborating with third parties as needed.
  • Meet cash collection and DSO monthly targets.
