A financial services company in London is seeking a Credit Control Assistant to help enhance cash flow and manage aged debt. Responsibilities include running reports, data validation, and liaising with brokers. Ideal candidates will have an enthusiastic attitude and analytical thinking skills. Familiarity with general insurance principles and IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft applications, will be advantageous.

This role supports the binder collections team by assisting with premium collection, helping to improve cash flow and reduce aged debt.
What will you do in this role?
Initial Responsibilities
Support the credit control team in running reports
Assist with data validation and checking
Contribute to reconciliation tasks
Flag and escalate data discrepancies or queries to the credit control team
Help contact brokers and coverholders to obtain paid bordereaux
Future Role Development
Take responsibility for chasing outstanding inward premiums from brokers
Maintain up-to-date commentary within IRIS on binder debt over 90 days for inclusion in unit packs and management reports
Liaise with Underwriters and follow up with Brokers as required
Update systems with Underwriter amendments
You may also be asked to take on additional tasks and responsibilities appropriate to the scope and purpose of this role.

Role Factors:
This role is based in London and typically requires in-office attendance for 9 days per month.
