This is an excellent opportunity for a Credit Controller to join a business services organisation. The role focuses on managing the credit control function and ensuring timely payments in a professional setting

My client is a well-established company based in Central London. Due to recent rapid growth, they are now looking to hire a Credit Controller to join their diverse Team.

This is a permanent role with hybrid working 4-1 days in the office / working from home.

Their offices are based in London, close to Victoria Street Tube Station.

Description

  • Credit Controller:

The credit controller :

  • Manage and monitor accounts receivable to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices.
  • Proactively follow up on overdue payments and maintain clear communication with clients.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively.
  • Prepare and present reports on outstanding debts and payment collections.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to address billing queries and disputes.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Working with the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
  • Assist in the improvement of credit control procedures and processes.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • Previous experience in a credit control or similar accounting role.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
