Credit Controller - Merseyside

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a thriving manufacturing business based just outside Liverpool. This is a fantastic chance to be part of a dynamic finance team in a well-established and growing company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and maintaining the sales ledger
  • Chasing outstanding payments via phone, email, and letter
  • Building strong relationships with customers to ensure timely payments
  • Allocating incoming payments and reconciling accounts
  • Investigating and resolving invoice queries
  • Preparing aged debt reports and supporting month-end processes
  • Working closely with internal departments to resolve payment issues
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
