Job summary

Reed in Liverpool City Centre is seeking an experienced Credit Controller for a part-time, six-month temporary contract. The role is 24 hours per week with immediate start available, based in Liverpool City Centre.

You will chase outstanding debt, build customer relationships, and handle invoices and cash allocations within the finance team using IT and finance systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control and debt collection.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Able to negotiate settlements and payment terms.
• Detail oriented with accurate data entry and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Chasing outstanding debt via telephone and email
• Building and maintaining customer relationships
• Resolving invoice and payment queries
• Allocating cash receipts
• Reconciling customer accounts
• Producing aged debt reports
• Supporting the finance team with general credit control duties

Requirements:

• Previous Credit Control experience
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good attention to detail
• Competent IT and finance systems skills
