They are seeking a Credit Controller to join their finance team at their Leeds Support Centre, based in the centre of Leeds. The role involves managing the timely collection of a portfolio of residential Care home debtors and collecting care fees from self-funding and local government authority residents.

Main duties of the job

As a credit controller, you will be responsible for minimizing the aging of debt and retaining levels set by the Credit Manager. You will manage the collection of debt through written and verbal communication, establish relationships with individuals and local authorities to ensure timely payments, and meet monthly and quarterly cash/debtor day targets set by the Finance Controller/Credit Manager. You will also attend monthly debtors' meetings to discuss the management of debts and follow the agreed company policy of debt escalation.
