Job summary

Edwards & Pearce are assisting a prominent client in Hull who is keen to recruit an experienced Credit Controller. You will manage all aspects of credit control, from assessing risk to resolving queries, in a busy environment.

The role is permanent, full-time with hybrid working and a generous holiday entitlement. You will build relationships with clients, reduce debt, and maintain accurate debtor records using Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Proven history working within credit control including managing high volume debtors lists.
• Ability to build/develop business relationships to retrieve debt.
• Accurate maintenance of customer contact, payments and records.
• Credit knowledge to resolve account irregularities.
• Highly accurate, tenacious and assertive with strong negotiating skills.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of credit control from assessing initial risk to solving queries.
• Proactively manage the reduction of the company's UK and global debt.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients throughout the credit procedure.

• Applicants must have a proven history working within credit control including managing high volume debtors lists

• Be able to accurately maintain customer contact, payments and records
• Possess credit knowledge to successfully resolve account irregularities
• Be highly accurate, tenacious, assertive and possess strong negotiating skills
• Good standard of IT literacy including Microsoft Word & Excel
