Hours: 40 per week (Monday – Friday)

Rate: £25,396 per annum

Location: Hull

Venn Group are currently working with an organisation based in Hull who are seeking a Credit Controller to start at short notice on a permanent basis

Main duties of the job:

  • To take complete ownership of workload, working from daily work list to control the outstanding debt from customers
  • Build relationships with customers and branch directors and their teams to facilitate swift resolution
  • To ensure that the status and notes on all accounts are kept up to date
  • Prepare written correspondence as necessary regarding customer accounts
  • Control customer accounts as necessary to ensure customer is working within credit limits, dealing with overtrading and maintaining stop dates
  • Ensure that customer queries are rectified and resolved as quickly as possible to ensure prompt payment of debt
  • Provide support and advice to the organisations branches regarding customer accounts and outstanding queries

The successful candidate must have worked in a Customer Service role previously
