Our Finance team plays a vital role in supporting the organisation's success by ensuring strong financial health, delivering excellent service to our customers, and maintaining trusted business relationships. As part of a collaborative and supportive team, you'll work closely with colleagues across Finance, Sales, Customer Services, and Credit Risk, while building relationships with clients.

Your new role:

As a Credit Controller, you'll be responsible for a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring outstanding balances are handled effectively and professionally. You'll build positive relationships, support timely invoice payments, resolve queries, and help maintain the accuracy of financial records.

  • Build strong, professional relationships developing positive engagement that supports timely payments and outstanding client care.
  • Proactively lead customer accounts to reduce outstanding debt and improve cash collection performance.
  • Follow up on overdue invoices through a variety of communication methods, ensuring payments are recovered in line with agreed terms.
  • Evaluate and process credit requests, helping to minimise risk while supporting business growth.
  • Negotiate sustainable repayment arrangements that balance customer needs with business objectives.
  • Process, reconcile, and maintain accurate customer invoice records to ensure financial data remains reliable and up to date.
  • Post and allocate customer payments accurately within the accounting system, supporting effective ledger management.
  • Produce debtor reports, account statements, and financial updates that provide clear visibility of account status and collection activity.
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries, resolving issues efficiently and delivering a positive customer experience.
