Credit Controller required for a wholesale distribution company based in Gloucester, GL4, paying up to £32,000. Immediate start for the right candidate.

Our client is looking for an experienced credit controller to join the accounts team with a focus on ensuring that any credit issued is paid on time and in full. Working closely with your customers you will be doing everything possible to ensure that a strong B2B relationship exists and that opportunities are maximised. Our client is a strong player within their field and offers a modern, open plan working environment for you to work from.

As Credit Controller for our client your duties will involve:

• managing the debt of a portfolio of customers


• managing customer account details ensuring they are up to date


• developing strong relationships with your clients


• ensuring that customers put on hold are released in timely fashion following payment


• liaising with other departments/colleagues to resolve queries


• allocating payments/refunds daily


• ensuring that data is up to date for monthly reports etc

The successful Credit Controller will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills:

- previous credit control experience - consideration will be given for someone that has recently finished studying a relevant course

- analytical skills and keen attention to detail

- excellent working knowledge of MS Excel

- good working knowledge of data entry software

- ability to put together well structured emails and letters

Job Title: Credit Controller

Salary: £32,000

Duration: Permanent

Location: Gloucester

Hours: Monday to Friday 08.30 - 17.00 (38.75 hours per week)
