Credit Controller

This opportunity is for a Credit Controller role in a leading company within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. The role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and timely payment of debts, supporting the Accounting & Finance department.

Description

• Ensure timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments
• Maintain contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment
• Resolve queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
• Post and allocate daily receipts to accounting systems
• Check and reconcile supplier statements
• Process new account applications
• Conduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage credit limits
• Make recommendations to improve quality of invoicing and collection procedures

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

• A solid understanding of credit control procedures
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• An analytical mind with attention to detail
• Good understanding of the Industrial / Manufacturing industry
• Relevant qualifications in Accounting & Finance
