  • Reconciling and raising bills for customer charges.
  • Processing charge changes, including raising invoices and credit notes.
  • Posting receipts and accurately allocating cash.
  • Investigating unallocated cash/credit balances.
  • Performing account reconciliations.
  • Managing and processing daily direct debit collections.
  • Conducting daily credit control via telephone, letter, and email.
  • Implementing and monitoring payment plans.
  • Assisting with legal aspects of debt recovery.

About

Our exclusive client based in Chorley is currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team. This well-known business has an established and stable team of credit controllers and needs one additional team member due to growing workload.

Duties Include
  • Chasing overdue accounts
  • Reconciling and raising bills for customer charges
  • Processing charge changes, including raising invoices and credit notes
  • Posting receipts, taking card payments, and accurately allocating cash
  • Investigating unallocated cash/credit balances
  • Performing account reconciliations
  • Managing and processing daily direct debit collections
  • Conducting daily credit control via telephone, letter, and email
  • Implementing and monitoring payment plans where necessary
  • Assisting with legal aspects of debt recovery

You must have previous credit control experience to be considered for this role. You need to be a confident communicator who can build strong working relationships with both customers and your team.
