About The Role

We have an amazing opportunity to support the financial performance of GSF Car Parts by efficiently managing customer payments, reducing overdue debt, and maintaining positive client relationships.

About You

• Credit Control & Debt Collection
• Ensure payments are collected within agreed terms by effectively managing your workload using systems such as Sidetrade.
• Monitor assigned customer accounts regularly to identify and follow up on overdue debts.
• Proactively chase outstanding payments and escalate unresolved issues to the credit risk team as needed.
• Investigate and resolve payment delays or disputes promptly.
• Provide timely copies of invoices and credit notes upon request.
• Collaborate with internal branches to help customers remain within payment terms.
• Risk Management & Portfolio Reviews
• Participate in regular reviews of your customer portfolio to identify and communicate potential credit risks.
• Support management in developing mitigation plans for high-risk accounts.
• Month-End Debt Clearance
• Ensure all overdue debts are addressed before month-end deadlines.
• Place accounts on hold as appropriate to prevent further credit exposure until outstanding payments are received.
• Customer Relationship Management
• Handle all customer interactions professionally and courteously.
• Resolve customer queries promptly, working within your level of authority.
• Additional Duties
• Undertake other responsibilities as reasonably assigned by your line manager.

Essential

• Proven experience in a similar credit control role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical thinking and commercial awareness

• Experience in a large corporate, B2B FMCG credit risk environment
• Familiarity with MAM and Sidetrade platforms
