Credit Control Team Leader– Nottingham, Hybrid –£28,000 – £35,000
We’re working with a leading professional services firm to find an experienced Credit Control Team Leader to join their Nottingham City Centre office. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a key function within a respected organisation known for its progressive and inclusive culture.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a team of credit control professionals, supporting the effective recovery of overdue accounts and driving improvements in cash flow and risk management. This role offers a blend of day-to-day leadership, strategic process input, and hands-on problem-solving.
Key responsibilities include overseeing team performance, compiling financial reports, supporting escalated queries, and contributing to the ongoing development of internal processes and controls. You’ll also work closely with internal stakeholders and external clients to resolve aged debt and maintain strong relationships.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience leading or mentoring a credit control team
Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to process improvement
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Solid working knowledge of Excel and financial reporting
A collaborative mindset with a focus on coaching and team development
