Credit Control Officer
Job description
My client is a fast-growing service provider based in Rochdale. Due to expansions of the team, they are seeking a number of Credit Controllers.
Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, duties will include:
- Responsible for a ledger ensuring all customers adhere to their payment terms.
- Developing relationships with customers and solving any queries concerning their accounts.
- Recovering outstanding debt by means of chasing using the phone and email.
- Identifying and monitoring customers who pose a financial risk to the business.
- Sending overdue customers for disconnection of services whilst working within credit control processes.
- Identifying ways in which the current processes and procedures can be improved.
- Adhoc reporting.
- General Credit Control admin duties.
The right candidate will be:
- Self-motivated.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess good arithmetic skills.
- Computer literate with moderate Excel and strong Outlook skills.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Good at working as part of a team and individually.
- Exhibit excellent organisational and time management skills.
This role is office-based in Rochdale; some hybrid can be offered. You will be working in a motivated and rewarding team.
