St Austell Brewery is recruiting an experienced CreditControl Manager who will have oversight and accountability for the credit controlactivities of the Company. The successful candidate will lead our creditcontrol team and collaborate with wider business stakeholders, to ensure allteams are aligned in their objectives to minimise bad debt whilst maximisingprofit.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing strategies to increase successful collectionson outstanding debt and improve efficiency in ways of working
  • Establishing effective partnerships with customers andinternal stakeholders across the business
  • Hosting regular debt review meetings with key stakeholdersto ensure business leaders have visibility of the debt profile of their areaand ensuring a collaborative approach to resolving problematic accounts
  • Analysing data and preparing detailed reports on the statusof credit and collections, highlighting key metrics and areas of concern
  • Lead, co-ordinate and mentor the credit control team,setting clear objectives and performance standards and conducting regular teammeetings
  • Managing complex account queries and resolving or escalatingproblems as they arise
  • Monitoring outstanding debts, proactively contactingcustomers to ensure timely payments and negotiating debt repayment plans
  • Oversight for assessing creditworthiness of new and existingclients to minimise financial risk

About You

  • Strong experience in credit control with substantial experience ina management or supervisory role
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong excel skills and ability to work with large data sets
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using ERP accounting software
