Job Title: Credit Control Bordereaux Analyst
Division: Beazley Shared Services - Finance

Job Summary: To support and develop the analysis and management of bordereaux from Beazley Service Company to provide robust management information on binding authorities to the business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with the credit control team to deliver the business vision for the accurate and timely submission of Service Company bordereau, as defined by Lloyds standards.
- Production and analysis of accurate bordereaux for Service Company entities to upload into the relevant database. This involves:
- Analysing the data provided by credit control teams, effecting accurate reconciliation and implementing controlled manual remediation of data where applicable.
- Ensuring that bordereaux are consistent with Lloyd’s Reporting Standards (v5.2) as well as Beazley’s own data requirements for regulatory and internal reporting;
- Agreeing, communicating and documenting what data cleansing and business rules need to be applied to the data as it is entered to ensure that it results in a consistent format.
- Developing and documenting bordereaux manipulation;
- Documentation ownership and maintenance of fields mapped and rules applied to ensure consistency, common standards and version control;
- Finding, and documenting, logical, practical solutions to issues encountered.
- Working with key stakeholders to strive to achieve right first-time submissions

Education and Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in any discipline
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent excel skills are required for this role, with a willingness to learn
- Ability to think creatively to both anticipate and solve problems. Able to harness technical knowledge of a system to respond effectively to business needs

Knowledge and Experience
- Experience of cleansing/manipulating business data, preferably within an insurance environment for analysis purposes and/or using systems to do this
- Numerate with ability to deal with large volume of data whilst retaining detail accuracy
- Knowledge of binding authorities / bordereaux beneficial
- Knowledge of Macro’s beneficial
- Experience of working in a Lloyd’s / general insurance environment advantageous
