Job description

CMA are delighted to be supporting an established Whiteley based business, considered an industry leader within their sector. They are currently looking to appoint a Credit Control Administrator where you will play a vital role in managing and recovering owed finances from customers. You will ensure efficient and professional handling of all debt matters. This role would be well suited to candidate who is looking for an entry level position within a finance team.

What will the Credit Control Administrator role involve?

  1. Analyse and review outstanding accounts to determine the next steps within the debt recovery process.
  2. Contact customers to discuss overdue payments.
  3. Prepare reports on debt recovery status and update management as required.
  4. Attend weekly credit control meetings to discuss collection progress.
  5. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  6. Contribute to team goals and participate in ongoing training and development.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account information.
  8. Initiate Judgment requests when applicable and handle court defences as needed.
  9. Forward information to debt collectors post-Judgment.

Suitable Candidate for the Credit Control Administrator vacancy:

  1. Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  2. Keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
  3. Ideally previous experience supporting finance transactions teams.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
