Job description

Job Title: Credit Control Admin Assistant
Reporting To: Group Credit Manager
Location: Remote/Wilmslow
Hours of Work: 37.5

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an Admin Assistant to join our Credit Control team based in Wilmslow.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Additional Service one-off billing
  2. Cash allocation
  3. Sending VAT schedules/invoices/statements/copy agreements to clients as requested
  4. Reinstating & set up new direct debits
  5. Managing cancelled direct debit BACS report
  6. Amending bank details on customer accounts
  7. Resolving customer queries
  8. Processing refunds
  9. Calculating settlement figures & processing settlement invoices
The Person
  1. Knowledge and experience of credit control processes and procedures is essential
  2. Transactional finance knowledge and understanding
  3. Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  4. Professional attitude and persona
  5. Positive outlook
  6. Strong work ethic
  7. Able to prioritise workload
  8. Negotiation skills
  9. Ability to communicate with clients and staff at all levels
  10. Generate and maintain solid working relationships with customers and colleagues
