Description

Our client, a fast growing asset manager is looking to hire an experienced Credit Analyst/Portfolio Manager to help manage Sustainable Bond funds.

Key responsibilities:

• Analysis of new credit issuers for inclusion in the investment universe, incorporating ESG/sustainability factors into investment decisions
• Perform fundamental credit analysis of sectors and countries to identify key risks from a financial perspective
• Meet with company management, ratings agencies and brokers to discuss industry trends
• Assessing rating agency reports and industry trends to form an investment opinion on companies within the portfolio
• Actively contribute to regular investment team teams and provide regular updates on results from individual issuers in the investment universe

Preferred candidate will have:

• Minimum 7 years experience in credit analysis
• Experience in analysing a wide range of issuers in both corporates and local government institutions
• An understanding of how ESG factors impact upon credit analysis and the ability to integrate emerging trends into the investment process
• A passion for green bond investing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
