Job summary

Nuffield Health Bromley Crèche is seeking a part-time Creche Assistant to create a safe, stimulating environment for children through play and education. You’ll support development across physical, emotional and social domains, adhering to childcare guidance. Proven creche experience and qualifications (NNEB/NVQ3/BTEC) are required; EYPS and Paediatric First Aid are a bonus.

Shifts are 09:00–13:00. Benefits include gym membership, health assessments, retail discounts and pension options.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a creche environment.
• Qualified to NNEB, NVQ Level 3, or BTEC.
• EYPS and Paediatric First Aid are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take reasonable care of yourself and others while complying with Health and Safety policy at all times.
• Create a safe, clean, tidy, secure and stimulating Crèche environment for children.
• Support children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, social and psychological development through play and education.
• Provide equipment for play and education.
• Ensure Crèche is safe, clean and tidy at all times.
• Liaise with parents and carers regularly in an informative and appropriate manner.

Creche AssistantBromley FWC | Childcare | Permanent | Part Time |£27,248 per annum pro rata16 hours per weekWe are looking for a Creche Assistant at our club, who will create a safe, secure and stimulating creche environment - one where children can explore their potential. You’ll consider their physical, emotional, intellectual, social and psychological development. You’ll do it through play and education, always keeping up with the latest changes in childcare legislation. We’ll give you opportunities to train in new techniques and approaches.You’ll need proven experience in creche environment, and be qualified to NNEB, NVQ Level 3, BTEC. Ideally, you’ll also have EYPS, Paediatric First Aid. You will need to be available to work shifts between the hours of 09:00-13:00.
