Job summary

Randstad Tuition Services in Leicester is seeking educators, tutors and mentors for part-time, flexible 1:1 or small group tuition across core subjects. Sessions are designed to be creative and relationship-first to support learners who thrive outside traditional classrooms.

You will tailor sessions to each learner, track progress beyond grades, and help reconnect young people with learning in a joyful way.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher or experienced tutor, youth worker or someone with education/mentoring background.
• Passionate about helping learners outside mainstream education (SEMH, SEND, EOTAS, AP).
• Creative in approach, tailoring sessions to each learner's interests and strengths.
• Empathetic and emotionally intelligent, able to build trust and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 or small group tuition in core subjects with a flexible, relationship-first approach.
• Plan engaging sessions tailored to learners' academic and emotional needs.
• Track learner progress beyond grades, focusing on confidence and curiosity.
• Help learners reconnect with learning and see it as joyful.
