Get out what you put in

This role is based across 2 of our local children's homes in Rugby, on a full-time basis.

The homes are connected to 2 local schools (Avon Park & Dovetree School) with full clinical teams on-site, including Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, and Psychology. We have a dedicated Assistant Psychologist allocated to the homes.

Our clinicians are a crucial part of the most joined-up SEND model. Across our specialist schools and children’s homes, we provide unrivalled clinical support, both in expertise and breadth of provision. Our young people present with complex needs including developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental conditions, and special educational needs.

As part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team, you will support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments, and based on clinical assessment and formulation, offer individualised interventions and engagement. You will also assess mental health and recommend appropriate interventions in personalised care plans. Building rapport is key to delivering effective counselling and providing feedback on progress.
