Got a knack for storytelling, a love of glitter glue, or a secret talent for building volcanoes out of papier-mâché? We’re looking for creative souls who can turn everyday lessons into little adventures.

Protocol Education is on the hunt for Teaching Assistants who think outside the box—and love bringing learning to life. Whether your background’s in drama, art, music, or just good old-fashioned enthusiasm, we’ve got roles that will let your talents shine.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Supporting pupils with engaging, hands-on learning activities

  • Working 1:1 or in small groups to inspire curiosity and confidence

  • Collaborating with teachers to deliver lessons with a creative twist

  • Encouraging self-expression through arts, role-play, and project work

What we’re looking for:
  • Experience working with children (schools, clubs, camps, etc.)

  • A creative mindset and a playful, patient approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Confidence supporting learners across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

  • Bonus points if you’ve worked with SEND or have Thrive training (or want to do ours—it's free!)

You’ll need an enhanced DBS on the Update Service. If you don’t have one yet, no stress—we’ll help you sort it as part of registration.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
