Are you a university graduate with a background in sport, art, drama, music, psychology, or something similar? Are you considering your career options, and looking for a fun, active school- based role where you can make an impact on the lives of young people? If so, this might be the opportunity for you!

SANZATeaching Agencyare supporting a number of excellent primary schools across Barking & Dagenham. We are working on a number of different teaching assistant positions to start in September 2025.

The roles will involve working as a general classroom teaching assistant, as well as supporting students across the school that have special needs/Autism. You will also get the opportunity to develop and deliver intervention workshops targeted at key areas of development for the students!

About you:

We are looking for candidates from a variety of different backgrounds, including sport, art, drama, music, psychology or the like, who are keen to get involved across the school and use their passion and talents across the school!

As a teaching assistant, you will:

• Support the learning of children with special needs/SEN on a 1:1 basis
• Hold targeted intervention workshops with small groups of students or 1:1
• Assist the class teacher with the overall running of the classroom/day
• Monitor, assess and support the needs of the children
