Salary: £90–£100 Per Day (PAYE) + CPD

We’re looking forCreative Teaching Assistants to join dedicated SEND schools across Kingston-upon-Thames. These are temporary, full-time roles with a view to permanent positions and is your chance to bring creativity, patience, and empathy to students who need it most.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support, adapting activities to suit individual strengths and challenges.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that celebrates each student’s achievements.

  • Assist with sensory activities and creative interventions to help students develop essential skills.

  • Support classroom management, including behaviour monitoring and safeguarding.

What You’ll Need

We’re seeking someone with a calm, adaptable approach and a genuine passion for supporting SEND learners:

  • Qualifications: GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).

  • Experience: Previous experience with children or young people, especially in SEND settings.

  • Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and an understanding of safeguarding.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working with autism, ADHD, or other SEND needs.

  • A Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant SEND training.

  • First Aid certification or Thrive Approach training.
