Job Duties:

  • Assist in the implementation of creative teaching methods tailored to meet the needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote inclusive learning.
  • Provide individualised support to students with SEN to enhance their academic and social development.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and track the progress of students with SEN, providing regular feedback to the teaching team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom setting within a school environment. The candidate may need to provide support to students with varying levels of SEN. The working hours are full-time, following the school timetable. The job may require some flexibility in terms of tasks and hours based on the needs of the students and the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
