Are you a passionate support worker or teaching assistant with a background in art, music, or acting? We are seeking enthusiastic individuals eager to unleash their creative talents in a special needs school environment in Newcastle.

As a teaching assistant, you will play a key role in nurturing creativity and supporting students' development within a sensory-focused setting. Your responsibilities include enhancing hand-eye coordination, speech and language skills, social and communication abilities, independence, and cognitive processes.

This role offers the opportunity to explore subjects such as cooking, art, and music.

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm
• Engage students through activities like music, art, physical education, and cooking
• Provide personalized support to improve communication and coordination
• Assist with sensory integration in the classroom
• Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress
