Creative Teaching Assistant

Tradewind are looking for teaching assistants from creative backgrounds such as acting, drama, musical backgrounds to work in our primary schools in Chelmsford

As a teaching assistant you will working both one to one and within a class supporting both your peers and pupils in a positive and engaging environment. Successful candidates will encourage pupils development, engage through sensory play & interaction, understanding social cues & skills, teaching independent living with pupils that have a diagnosis of special needs such as autism, speech and language difficulties and severe learning disabilities, physical disabilities.

These particular schools are looking for teaching assistants that can apply their creative skills within early years and primary settings and maintain an engaged and fulfilling learning experience.

Main Duties:

Engaging pupils through interactive and creative activities
Helping with sensory integration within the classroom
Working with the teacher to assess pupil's levels and ability
Ensuring the schools ethos and policies are being implemented
