Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting teaching assistants with creative backgrounds to support students with special needs in one-to-one sessions starting in September. The role involves delivering creative learning experiences, outdoors activities at farms and community placements, and assisting in lessons such as music, art and P.E., helping prepare learners for adulthood.

You may have no previous experience; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Calm and consistent approach.
• Ability to inspire trust and motivate learners to learn through play.

Responsibilities

• Provide creative, one-to-one support to students with SEND.
• Support in class and in lessons such as art, music and P.E.
• Deliver numeracy with emphasis on independence and life skills.
• Assist with community activities and work placements.
• Participate in training during the role.
