Job summary

The University of Dundee is seeking a technician to support our creative studio environments. This dynamic role involves working with staff and students on a range of activities, maintaining studios and spaces, and enabling collaborative and innovative work.

You will assist in regular maintenance, supervise safe practice in studios, move studios, support exhibitions and events, and respond to enquiries in person or by email.

Qualifications

• Some experience of construction and the use of power tools.
• Good interpersonal and communications skills.
• Knowledge of safe moving and handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Regular maintenance and service of studio spaces to keep them suitable in a dynamic academic environment.
• Work with students to help them practice safely in studios.
