Job Description:

As a Creative Social Media Conceptor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our brand’s presence across social platforms. This role combines conceptual thinking, creative storytelling, and hands-on content production. You don’t just manage channels — you drive them forward through compelling ideas and audience-first content that resonates, performs, and evolves with trends.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Creative Concepting & Content Strategy
    • Develop (data-backed) content concepts and social-first creative ideas for social media channels, primarily Instagram and TikTok, followed by Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
    • Translate brand, campaign, and product stories into platform-appropriate content.
    • Create original designs, compelling copy, and thumb-stopping headlines that reflect the brand voice and engage our audience.
  2. Channel Management
    • Own and actively manage the day-to-day of the social channels of the UK, ensuring brand consistency, community management and engagement, and performance alignment.
    • Monitor and analyze channel performance, adapting content formats, posting schedules, and engagement tactics based on insights and trends.
    • Collaborate with local and international teams to ensure aligned messaging and leverage synergies across markets.
  3. Content Creation & Production
    • Create briefings for all kinds of content formats, from static info graphics to animated assets and short-form videos.
    • Support the creation of static and motion assets with design and copywriting skills.
    • Work closely with video editors, designers, and copywriters to bring ideas to life in an engaging and brand-consistent way.
    • Contribute to master content creation and adapt assets for multi-channel use, ensuring consistency across regional teams.
  4. Collaboration & Insights Integration
    • Work with the customer insights team and other departments to turn data and trends into actionable content ideas.
    • Use a data-driven approach to continuously improve content based on performance and feedback.
    • Collaborate with Art Directors, designers, and video teams to shape impactful campaigns.
    • Support and guide other teams in developing content concepts and managing creative processes.
Qualifications
  • Strong creative sense with an eye for design and storytelling, especially in fast-paced, social-first environments.
  • Proven experience in social media management and content concepting, ideally within e-commerce or consumer brands.
  • Ability to write compelling, brand-consistent copy and create simple, visually appealing designs when needed.
  • Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Figma, Canva, and social media platforms (Facebook Business Manager, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest).
  • Experience with multi-social posting tools (e.g., Sprinklr or similar).
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with creatives, analysts, and marketers.
  • A love for pets and passion for creating content that benefits pet parents.
  • Bonus: Experience with AI tools for ideation and content creation is a plus.
