Job description

We’re looking for a new Creative Social Media Executive to join the BEAUTY BAY social team!

As our Creative Social Media Executive, you’ll be the creative force behind our social channels, from ideation to execution. You’ll help build and grow our presence across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube by creating thumb-stopping content, engaging copy, and making data-led decisions. You’ll be the social-first storyteller, always on top of what’s trending and ready to react in real-time.

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation - Film, edit, and produce high-quality, engaging content across all channels, especially short-form video (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts). Whilst also up for being on camera for employee generated content pieces.
  • Channel Management: Own the day-to-day management and growth of our Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube channels.
  • Trend Spotting & Disruptive storytelling: Stay ahead of trends in beauty, pop culture, and social media to keep our content fresh, relevant, and reactive.
  • Copywriting: Write compelling captions and social copy that reflects our brand tone and voice, whilst tailoring to each social channel based on target audience.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor performance, track KPIs, and optimise content strategies based on insights.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with followers, creators, and the beauty obsessed to build a strong and loyal online community.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with creative, marketing, and product teams to align messaging and campaign delivery.

About you

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong creative eye for visual storytelling; filming, editing, and producing content is second nature to you.
  • Skilled in tools like CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut or similar.
  • Deep understanding of platform-specific content styles and best practices.
  • Analytical mindset – confident interpreting data to drive decisions.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills with a flair for fun, engaging, and brand-aligned content.
  • Passionate about beauty and the evolving landscape of digital culture.
  • Highly organized, agile, and responsive to trends and opportunities in real-time.
