Job summary

Sue Ross Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting a Social Media Coordinator on an 18-24 month fixed-term contract in Sheffield. The role offers hands-on experience in content creation, social media management and digital marketing for a recent graduate.

Working with the marketing team, you will develop engaging content, capture media, edit across platforms, and help deliver campaigns while adhering to brand and accessibility standards. A degree in Marketing or related subjects is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Media or Journalism or related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity and ability to generate engaging content ideas.
• Attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative, original content ideas in response to briefs.
• Capture high-quality photo and video content for social media and digital channels.
• Edit and produce engaging content using design platforms.
• Create social media assets aligned with brand guidelines and objectives.
• Ensure content meets accessibility standards and best practices.
• Support delivery of diverse content showcasing activities across the organisation.
• Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for innovative content.
• Maintain templates, image libraries, video archives and stock resources.
• Assist content planning, scheduling and campaign delivery across platforms.
• Support wider marketing and communications projects as required.
