Job description We are recruiting for a Creative SEND Graduate Support Assistant for a Primary School based in Gateshead to work on a long-term basis starting after the Summer break. Creative SEND Graduate Support Assistant Role & Responsibilities: Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils Contribute to developing a creative curriculum where creative learning opportunities are available for all pupils Support pupils in small groups and on a one-to-one basis whilst responding to their individual needs Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate Provide an 'outside of the box' way of thinking to help students engage in their learning Non-negotiables: Must have obtained a 2:2 or above in degree Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills Experience in one or more creative subjects (Music, Drama, Sports, Art, Creative Writing, Psychology) Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher and as part of a wider team This role is starting after the Summer break so please apply today if interested and you will be contacted within the next 24-48 hours if successful.
