Disability Arts Online Limited is seeking a Creative Producer / Creative Access Manager to work with the Artist and Support Worker team. The role focuses on producing, project management, fundraising and Creative Access Management, with emphasis on securing funding to resource the Artist’s work now and in the future.
You will identify opportunities, build relationships with funders and act as a trusted partner to amplify the Artist’s national profile with accuracy and pride.
The Artist is a multi-award-winning actor, singer, writer, composer and director whose career spans more than two decades across theatre, music, radio/audio and writing. She has performed leading roles for major national companies, including world premieres, on some of the UK's most prestigious stages and concert platforms. As a Disabled artist, she brings lived experience, artistic rigour and a distinctive voice to everything she makes. She is currently developing an ambitious new digitally immersive musical work, supported by major national arts funders.
The Creative Producer / Creative Access Manager sits alongside the existing Support Worker team, providing producing, project management and fundraising, as well as Creative Access Management as a support worker. Fundraising is a significant part of this role: identifying funding opportunities, writing applications and building lasting relationships with funders, so that the Artist's work is properly resourced now and into the future.
You will act as a trusted thinking partner, identifying where projects, partnerships, commissions, publications, productions, media opportunities and future ambitions intersect, and holding and amplifying the Artist's established national profile with accuracy and pride.
This position exists to provide parity. Structured, high-level access support enables the Artist to work at the same professional standard and visibility as her peers. Access support levels the playing field.
We are looking for someone who is trauma-informed and whose emotional literacy is equal to their professional skill. You will hold artistry and access together without flattening either, and move easily between the detail of the moment and the shape of the whole.
Self-employed Support Worker role funded by Access to Work, invoiced monthly (a UTR number is required). £30 per hour, 9 hours per week. Fixed-term from Monday 16 November 2026, with review for extension in line with Access to Work grant renewal. 4-week probationary period.
This role is remote. Working hours are flexible and take place in the afternoons, from 2pm onwards, with occasional evening or weekend check-ins. In-person meetings in North West London (NW2) are optional, not essential. The Artist works across a range of communication styles, including in-person meetings, video calls, and WhatsApp messages and voice notes.
