Job description

FlightStory is a media company on a mission to elevate stories, build communities, and support the founders who inspire a happier, healthier humanity.

Role Description

The mission of this role is to make Behind The Diary one of the most watched, compelling, and emotionally resonant behind-the-scenes content series in the world. As the Creative Producer, you will manage the entire production process, from logistics and timelines to shaping the final edit. You’ll collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver content that strengthens community connection, enhances brand value, and drives the full potential of this IP across YouTube and other platforms.

Responsibilities

You will manage the full weekly production schedule, including pre-shoot planning, shoot logistics, studio bookings, travel arrangements, and coordination with DOAC and FlightStory. Ensuring episodes are produced and published on time is essential.

You will work with footage to identify emotional moments and strong narrative arcs, contributing directly to story structure in collaboration with the Lead Filmmaker and Founder.

You will analyse performance data and apply insights to improve YouTube titles, thumbnails, structure, and viewer retention.

You will ensure every episode meets DOAC’s high standards of quality, pacing, and creativity, while building scalable systems that support efficient production.

Competencies

You have strong instincts for YouTube content and understand platform trends, pacing, structure, and audience behavior.

You are experienced in shaping narratives from raw footage and know how to build emotion, tension, and clarity in a story.

You are organised, deadline-driven, and reliable in managing production logistics from start to finish.

You understand the fundamentals of editing and can confidently communicate with editors and contribute to timelines and select reels.

You adapt quickly, troubleshoot problems effectively, and maintain momentum in fast-paced environments.

You collaborate well with diverse creative teams and are comfortable receiving and giving feedback.

What Success Looks Like:

Behind The Diary is consistently published on schedule with high emotional impact and strong narrative structure.

The audience feels closer to DOAC and FlightStory, with growing brand affinity and engagement.

Video performance metrics such as viewership, retention, and click-through rates improve month over month.

You actively test and optimise content packaging (titles, thumbnails) for greater discoverability and performance.

The production process becomes streamlined, repeatable, and creativity-friendly.

You become the go-to person for story development, creative flow, and operational excellence.

This Role Is Right For You If:

You have the ability to spot and shape great stories quickly and intuitively.

You are fluent in YouTube content strategy and understand how audiences consume digital media.

You excel in high-pressure, fast-turnaround environments and enjoy the creative challenge.

You view logistics and planning as creative tools that enable great storytelling.

You are inspired by the potential to build Behind The Diary into a globally recognized format, not just a YouTube series.
