Job description

Work Location: Hybrid, Farringdon, London, UK

Start Date: ASAP

Whalar is the leading, most awarded, independent Creator and Social agency. We transform brands into cultural drivers by unlocking the full creative power of Creators.

We go beyond the conventional social and influencer strategy. We have the technology and methodology to tap into the beating pulse of communities, listen to nuances that move culture, and connect brands in ways that make them unforgettable.

With hubs in London, Berlin, New York, and Los Angeles, our reach is global. In the UK, we proudly collaborate with clients such as Diageo, eBay, Nike, Oatly, Skyscanner, Twinings, Uber, Vodafone, and many more.

About The Role

Whalar’s Creative Producer plays a pivotal role at the intersection of marketing, events, and production.

Working closely with the Creative Director and Marketing Lead, this hybrid operator will support the planning and execution of Whalar-hosted events, help produce shoots and content across all Whalar Studios production offerings, and manage the day-to-day coordination that brings ambitious ideas to life.

This is a role for someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit, who thrives under pressure, solves problems instinctively, and enjoys making creative things happen - on time, on budget, and without the chaos.

Here’s What You’ll Do Day-to-day

  • Partner with the Marketing team to execute Whalar-hosted events, panels, and tentpole moments
  • Support Whalar Studios by managing production logistics across branded shoots, creator content, and events
  • Coordinate with freelance crew, talent, and vendors - including keeping an up-to-date roster of trusted partners
  • Liaise directly with Creative Directors to scope what’s needed to deliver production-ready ideas
  • Be ready to capture behind-the-scenes and social-first content at events and shoots (or coordinate others to do so - film experience not needed, but content capturing would be an ideal)
  • Work across project timelines, budgets, call sheets, and shoot planning documents to ensure smooth execution
  • Assist in recce decks, production planning, and internal coordination across teams
  • Support creators on set when needed - understanding how to bridge their needs with brand and studio goals
  • Be an ambassador for the Creative and Studios team in ensuring quality, pace, and calm delivery under pressure

Here’s What We’re Looking For

  • Around 5 years experience in a relevant role (creative project management, event production, content production - don’t let your current title restrict you as we are looking for someone who is a hybrid model, so can come from either world)
  • Experience working on set, with a confident understanding of shoot environments and requirements
  • Strong production instincts: able to wrangle timelines, budgets, crew, and logistics
  • Exposure to both event and content production - this role spans both worlds
  • A natural communicator: able to confidently liaise with freelancers, talent, and internal teams with authority
  • Calm, detail-oriented, and able to work across multiple projects with shifting deadlines
  • Culturally curious, with a love for creators, content, and the evolving studio landscape
  • A collaborative mindset - ready to be embedded in a fast-paced, creative team
