A successful and fast-paced fashion supplier working with some of the UK’s most popular high street retailers is seeking an experienced Vetigraph Pattern Cutter. The company specializes in trend-led ladies soft separates, including casualwear and dresses, and is known for its quality, speed to market, and collaborative working environment.

Role Overview

The Vetigraph Pattern Cutter will be responsible for creating accurate and well-constructed patterns using Vetigraph CAD software. Working across a variety of ladies soft separates, the Pattern Cutter will collaborate closely with designers, garment technologists, and machinists to ensure high standards of fit and quality are maintained throughout the development process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating and amending first patterns using Vetigraph CAD software
  • Working alongside the design and technical teams to develop styles from concept to production
  • Attending fit sessions and implementing pattern amendments as required
  • Ensuring all patterns are production-ready with accurate measurements and grading
  • Identifying and resolving pattern or fit issues efficiently
  • Staying updated with current fashion fits and trends, especially on the UK high street
  • Managing multiple styles at various development stages while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in pattern cutting, preferably within a supplier environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of Vetigraph CAD software
  • Proven experience with ladies soft separates, including tops, trousers, skirts, and dresses
  • Excellent understanding of garment construction, fit, and fabric behavior
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Keen eye for detail and quality
