Job summary

Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting an exciting and rare opportunity for a Teacher to join our Digital Media team at Joseph Wright Centre delivering our Creative Media curriculum for level 1, 2 and 3. You will inspire students and contribute to a supportive teaching team with a shared passion for creative media.

You’ll deliver engaging teaching, learning and assessment, helping students develop knowledge from Media Language to Social Media Management, using Canva, CapCut and Adobe Creative

Qualifications

• Instructors with teaching experience in Media or related areas and a passion for student-centred learning.
• Forward-thinking and innovative teaching approach with students at the heart of practice.
• Practical expertise in media production processes and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Creative Media curriculum to levels 1–3 with engaging teaching, learning and assessment.
• Plan, deliver and assess a range of topics including videography, animation, audio and marketing.
• Collaborate with the Digital Media team to support student progression and achievement.
