Job summary

Unity Education Limited is seeking a Media Teacher to join a Rainham school on a full-time basis, teaching Media across KS3 and KS4 and delivering engaging lessons.

The ideal candidate will have QTS, strong Media knowledge, and excellent classroom management, with opportunities for Lead Practitioner responsibilities for the right person within a supportive environment and clear development paths.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Strong subject knowledge in Media.
• Experience teaching Media at secondary level.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Passionate about engaging and inspiring students.
• Able to plan and deliver high-quality lessons.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience mentoring colleagues or leading on teaching and learning would be advantageous for the Lead Practitioner element.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Media lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Monitor progress and use assessment effectively.
• Contribute to the development of the Media curriculum.
• Support students to achieve their full potential.
