REESON Education is seeking a Media Studies Teacher for a mixed secondary school in East London. The role can be part or full-time and is long term with potential to go permanent. You will teach KS4 media studies and contribute to a department with a strong focus on enterprise and media qualifications.

Salary ranges from £39,196 to £58,120 depending on qualifications and experience. Immediate or January start options are available, with opportunities for leadership for an experienced Lead

A Media Studies Teacher is needed in a Mixed Secondary School in East London.

This Media Studies Teacher position can be part or full time and will be long term with scope to go permanent.

Teaching for this Media Studies Teacher post will be for KS4 classes.

The salary for this Media Studies Teacher role will be between 39196 and 58120, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

A Mixed Academy for pupils aged 11 to 16 years old, located in the London Borough of Havering.

It was established in 2016 and there are currently 1100 pupils on enrolment.

Achievements held by the school include, Specialist Business and Enterprise status, Sport England Sportsmark Gold and Investor in People Award Gold.

The school is also an active member of SSAT (The Schools and Teachers network), which looks to assist in improving already high attaining schools.

Highlights from the last Ofsted visit mention the culture of high expectations set by Academy Leaders.

In addition to this, pupils were noted to behave well in lessons and take full advantage of the extracurricular opportunities.

Staff are well motivated and feel a sense of pride when working at the school.
