Job summary

South Essex College Group is seeking an exceptional lecturer to join the School of Creative and Performing Arts in Southend-on-Sea. You will plan and deliver media courses (TV/film, print and digital) across Level 1–3, and take on Course Leader responsibilities for a learner group.

The role includes assessing progress and providing feedback to support learners’ development. Strong practical media skills with knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud are advantageous, with funded routes to Cert Ed/PGCE

Qualifications

Experience in planning and delivering lessons across Level 1–3 programmes.
Ability to assess and provide formative and summative feedback to learners.
Strong practical media skills with industry-standard facilities knowledge.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Level 1–3 learners.
Take on Course Leader responsibilities for a group of learners.
Assess and provide formative and summative feedback to ensure learner progress.
Collaborate with team, students, parents/carers and stakeholders for positive outcomes.
