Lecturer in Creative Media

Location: Stamford

Contract: Temporary, Part-Time (29.6 hours per week)

Morgan Hunt is working in partnership with a college in the Stamford area to recruit a Lecturer in Creative Media. This is a fantastic opportunity for a media industry professional or experienced educator looking to pass on their knowledge and inspire the next generation of storytellers.






Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching across Creative Media programmes, including journalism, digital production, and related disciplines.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of an engaging and industry-relevant curriculum.
  • Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
  • Encourage retention, achievement, and personal development through inspirational teaching and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and curriculum quality.
  • Support the wider college through events, marketing activities, and recruitment initiatives.
  • Embed safeguarding, digital literacy, and employability throughout all learning activity.
Essential Requirements:
  • A degree or HND in Creative Media, Journalism, or a related subject.
  • Recent industry experience in the creative media field.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed) or willingness to achieve a Level 5 Diploma (College supported).
  • Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
