Job description

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK resident residing within commutable distance Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Please note that we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

THE ROLE

Reporting into the Sales & Marketing Director the successful candidate will play an integral role in the formation of the Creative strategy and have influence over the Sales strategy, defining the brand's voice, ensuring consistent & compelling messaging, and producing innovative campaigns that resonate with the target audience and deliver results.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop & implement a clear and data-driven creative strategy that aligns with business objectives, mission, and values.
  • Work closely with Sales and provide insights to inform the development of the sales strategy.
  • Identify & develop marketing/creative initiatives to aid sales in lead generation activities.
  • Provide strategic direction to the Board on creative roadmaps for business growth and commercial success.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
Campaign Development & Management:
  • Oversee the ideation, development, execution, and optimisation of multi-channel campaigns across Socials, Web, Exhibitions, etc.
  • Ensure cohesion between the creative direction & branding, and update brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, producing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, sales) and translate business objectives into creative solutions.
Project Management:
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently.
  • Oversee the direction and progress of creative projects, from concept to completion, ensuring deliverables are on time, within budget and aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Provide clear creative briefs and feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Leadership & Management: Full management of 4 team members, providing leadership and coaching to encourage their professional development.
  • Full responsibility of the Marketing budget.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous experience in a practical & strategic Creative Leadership role is essential.
  • Experience in developing and implementing a successful creative strategy is essential.
  • Experience of working closely with Sales, providing insights & expertise to influence strategies and increase business revenue.
  • Strong Project Management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Innovative & creative mindset, with experience developing/monitoring/optimising on-line and off-line marketing activities.
  • Confident & concise communication skills, with exceptional written ability.
  • Product design experience would be highly beneficial.
  • Team management or mentoring experience.
  • UK resident with unrestricted right to work in the UK.
