A leading media company seeks a Creative Innovator to explore AI technologies for content and storytelling enhancement. You will lead experiments, partnering with teams to develop new formats and insights that keep the company at the forefront of innovation. Role Description
As the Creative Innovator, you will lead the exploration and experimentation of emerging technologies especially AI to unlock new creative possibilities across storytelling, content creation, and campaign development.
Embedded within the Innovation Team, you will stay at the forefront of innovation, rapidly testing tools, techniques, and formats to help FlightStory move faster, think bigger, and stay ahead of the curve.
You will play a key role in discovering what’s next by running agile experiments and translating future-facing technology into tangible creative opportunities.
Responsibilities
Discover and test emerging AI tools and creative technologies, quickly evaluating their potential impact on storytelling, production, and content innovation.
Launch fast-paced, high-impact experiments in AI storytelling and content generation. Work closely with creative and operations teams to validate what works.
Partner with developers, designers, and editors to co-create experimental content, tools, and workflows that push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Act as an internal thought leader and resource for creative innovation. Regularly share discoveries, insights, and real-world examples across the company.
Collaborate with the Operations Director and creative leads to ensure the most promising experiments are pressure-tested and scaled where relevant.
Keep FlightStory connected to the cultural and technological edge by scanning for shifts in platforms, tools, formats, and user behaviors that indicate what’s coming next.
Competencies
Demonstrates strong creative tech scouting skills, with the ability to discover, assess, and synthesize new tools, platforms, and technologies, maintaining a keen radar for innovation potential.
Possesses deep AI fluency, including a strong understanding of generative AI, synthetic media, and creative automation trends, with the capability to identify practical, storytelling-driven use cases.
Exhibits an experimental mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and learning from failure. Able to run lean, insightful experiments that lead to bold breakthroughs.
Shows strong creative translation skills, bridging technical tools and artistic ideas to generate inspiring concepts and executions.
