Job description

The Role: As our Creative Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting practical workshops across Product Design and Architecture. You'll work closely with students and staff, helping bring ideas to life through both traditional craft and cutting-edge digital technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist technical support in Product Design and Architecture workshops
  • Maintain and operate equipment including 3D printers, laser cutters, and traditional machinery
  • Assist students with software such as Fusion 360 and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ensure health and safety standards are upheld across all workshop activities
  • Contribute to the broader needs of the Art Department, including exhibitions, displays, and creative events
